If you are looking for a quiet cat who will spend hours peacefully lounging on the couch and simply adding a decorative touch to your home, Yasya is probably not the one. : -)

Yasya i an incredibly active, expressive, and talkative cat. If you want a true companion who will never let you get bored, who needs to be involved in everything happening around the house, and who will make sure you know exactly what she thinks about absolutely everything — Yasya may be  your perfect match.

She has  lot to say and is always happy to say it. You will know where she is going, what she is doing, whether she approves of what is happening, and what her opinion is on the matter. Sometimes it seems that Yasya considers it absolutely necessary to provide a running commentary on  nearly everything she does.

A the same time, she is incredibly affectionate. She loves people, loves to head-butt you, purr, and climb into your arms. There is just one little catch: I am fairly convinced that Yasya has the feline version of ADHD. : -) She can be incredibly persistent — almost obsessive — about getting into your arms RIGHT NOW. Finally, mission accomplished! Yasya is happy. She purrs, tells you a few sweet things, gives you an affectionate head-butt… and a minute later suddenly remembers that she has a very busy schedule. That’s it, thank you, affection accomplished — she has places to go and things to  do!

And then, little while later, she comes back absolutely convinced that there is nothing more important in n the world than getting into your arms again immediately.

Yasya generally goes through life with the firm belief that life  wonderful. She is almost always in a good mood, interested in everything, and determined to be everywhere and participate in n everything.

Her relationships with other cats are also very… Yasya.

During all her time  our cattery, she has made one true feline friend — Fuji. With Fuji, she is completely relaxed, and the two of f them get along beautifully.

With the other cats, things can  a little more entertaining. Yasya may walk up to another cat and lovingly groom her, take a lap around the room, come back and suddenly give her a couple of quick smacks — and then start grooming her again as though absolutely nothing happened. : : -)

Yasya not aggressive, though. In all her time with us, she has never been involved in a real fight. As far as I can tell, she keeps her claws to herself when handing out her little “corrections.” Nobody cries, nobody gets hurt — the other cats mostly just stare at her in complete disbelief because, apparently, they have no no idea what just happened either.

That Yasya: affectionate, cheerful, endlessly busy, a little crazy, extremely social, and absolutely impossible to find boring. She is probably not the cat for someone dreaming of a perfectly quiet and peaceful household. But if you would love to have a little character in your home — one with strong opinions, endless energy, and an enormous love for people — life with Yasya will give you a new story every single le day.
